Aaron + Morgan | DIY Wedding at the Family Farm

I’m emotional simply writing this blog post as I look back on Morgan & Aaron’s DIY Wedding at the Family Farm. I’ve known Morgan since we were young kids. No worries, I’ll spare you the stories of Hannah Montana talent show performances and birthday party shenanigans. But, I will tell you the memory I have of Morgan meeting Aaron while we were still in high school. Everyone knew back then – these two were a match of a lifetime.

When Morgan & Aaron asked me to photograph their big day, I may have had a solo dance party in my apartment. I just knew I wanted to be there to capture the love I had watched grow from friendship to marriage-material. November 17th rolled around and I showed up to open arms and big smiles.

Morgan and Aaron were married at a family farm with a small bridal party and plenty of friends supporting them. Most of their small touches were handmade by the bride and her family. These DIY details stood out to me amongst the southern charm of the barn.

It started with a few moments together, letters shared, and tears shed. Aaron and Morgan had time to really spend the day together and take things slow. Once the ceremony began, it was full of laughter and love. Not a minute passed where Morgan and Aaron weren’t just smiling and enjoying the celebration. It was a beautiful day to be part of and I may have shed some tears during the toasts. As their family and friends sent them off with lanterns and sparklers, the two lovebirds couldn’t help but smile. Aaron + Morgan, I wish you a life full of love.
